1. Account Eligibility & Registration
CaterMarket is a business-to-business (B2B) platform. To register for an account, you must:
- Be a legitimate commercial entity (e.g., independent caterer, ghost kitchen, baker, or venue operator).
- Provide accurate, current business information, including any requested tax IDs or business licenses.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activities under your account.
2. Marketplace Transactions & Sourcing
Because we bundle demand to unlock volume discounts from third-party manufacturers, you acknowledge that:
- Supplier Pricing: Quotes, bulk thresholds, and shipping fees are determined in coordination with our suppliers and may change based on market conditions.
- Order Commitments: Once an order is pooled and submitted to a manufacturer, it cannot be canceled or modified unless expressly permitted by that supplier's individual policy.
- Payment: You agree to pay all charges incurred by your account at the prices in effect when such charges are incurred.
3. Prohibited Conduct
Users of CaterMarket strictly agree NOT to:
- Circumvent the platform to contact or transact with listed wholesale suppliers independently once introduced via CaterMarket.
- Submit fraudulent business documentation, certifications, or tax exemptions.
- Reverse-engineer or disrupt the technical operations of our procurement software.
4. Limitation of Liability
CaterMarket facilitates the connection and transaction structure between buyers and suppliers, but we do not directly manufacture or prepare the wholesale goods. Consequently, CaterMarket is not liable for manufacturing defects, shipping delays caused by carrier partners, or kitchen inventory losses resulting from supplier fulfillment issues.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, harms other users, or negatively impacts our marketplace ecosystem.
6. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms of Use at any time. When updates occur, we will adjust the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
